MOT Tester – Glasgow Volvo
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Mon–Thu 8am–5pm, Fri 8am–4:30pm, alternate Saturdays
Salary: £29k basic, OTE up to £35k + uncapped bonus
Bonus: Additional £2k for EV Qualification
We’re expanding our team at Lookers Glasgow Volvo and looking for a qualified MOT Tester to join our workshop. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, carrying out MOTs, vehicle health checks, servicing, and authorised repairs using the latest technology.

What we’re looking for:
- Qualified MOT Tester
- Previous mechanical experience
- Self-motivated and keen to learn
- Dealer or independent garage background welcome
Key responsibilities:
- MOT testing in line with regulations
- Vehicle servicing and health checks
- Authorised repair work
- Road testing vehicles post-repair
- Accurate, high-quality documentation
