Maintenance Operative
Ganymede Energy are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Operative in Glasgow for a well-established & expanding company
The client is a market leader in purpose-built student accommodation across the UK and Europe. They work closely with their partners to be the most trusted accommodation choice for students by creating a unique experience where everyone feels they belong
About the role:
The main responsibilities of the role will be to optimise property condition, keeping the building safe, secure, legally compliant and working at maximum effectiveness
You will be responsible for basic plumbing & electrical tasks such as unblocking showers/drains, replacing taps, changing bulbs, identifying faults in fixtures and fittings and maintaining the grounds outside the property
Along with working closely with all departments to ensure excellent communication amongst all areas; be proactive and willing to assist other departments when the business requires
Also ensuring all of the Residents, Guests and Contractors, receive exceptional Customer Service and Care, consistently presenting a professional and courteous approach, as a face of the business
About you:
Professional, Courteous and Approachable
Manages priorities & takes responsibility for outcomes
Focuses on results
Ability to remain calm during difficult situations and in a very busy environment
Good time keeping and communication
Basic plumbing & electrical experience
Package:
Base salary of £28,000
28 days holiday (Including bh's)
Full-time permanent position
Mon – Fri (9:00am – 6:00pm)
You will be Invested in – online & personal training programs provided to improve your skillset, including fire safety, asbestos, building management and electrical courses
Tools provided on site
