SoftServe is seeking enthusiastic Business Development Representative to elevate our presence and identify early-stage opportunities within the UK public sector and the European Union. This role emphasizes proactive engagement - building relationships and positioning SoftServe as a trusted partner ahead of formal procurement processes. Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and Qualify Opportunities: Research and pinpoint potential opportunities where SoftServe can offer value, ensuring alignment with our services and capabilities.

Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts across UK government departments and EU institutions. Client Engagement: Participate in face-to-face and virtual meetings to understand client needs, effectively communicating how SoftServe's solutions can address these requirements. Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to showcase SoftServe’s capabilities, references, and case studies, ensuring we are well-positioned during pre-market discussions.

Leverage Frameworks: Utilize SoftServe’s presence on key frameworks and DPS contracts (e.g., G-Cloud 14, DOS 6, AI, Cyber Security, Space & Geospatial, EU ProServ DPS) to drive engagement. What We’re Looking ForEnthusiasm and Drive: A passion for business development with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.

Resilience and Tenacity: Ability to navigate challenges and persistently pursue goals. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with both internal teams and external clients. Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to spend time on client sites to build and maintain face-to-face relationships.

Team Player: Collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with various internal departments. Adaptability: Openness to learning and adapting in a dynamic environment. Note: While prior public sector experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement for this role.

Success MetricsQualified Opportunities: Generation of high-quality opportunities that align with SoftServe’s offerings. Client Engagement: Establishment of strong relationships leading to early-stage positioning ahead of formal procurements. Brand Elevation: Contribution to enhancing SoftServe’s reputation and presence within the UK & EU public sector.
