Motor Claims Handler - Hybrid working - Maxim Business Park


Our standard full-time contracts are for 35 hours per week, with options for part-time working (minimum 24 hours over 4 days).


Salary ranges from £25,100 to £28,500, depending on hours worked and experience.

About the role:


Your role will involve supporting customers through the motor claim process. This includes taking the First Notification of Loss, gathering relevant information to create a claim, and assisting with vehicle replacements or updates on repairs.


At Aviva Zero, you will proactively work to minimize customer inconvenience, juggling multiple tasks using digital systems, and making quick decisions to achieve the best outcomes.


Requirements:



  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs/National 5s at grades A to C (Grades 4–9 from 2017), including Maths and English.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with questioning abilities.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Team player mentality, eager to learn and assist others.

  • Passion for delivering high-quality customer service.

  • Supportive of change and able to suggest improvements.

  • Strong IT skills, experienced with Microsoft Outlook and Word; digital and online tasks are integral.

  • No previous claims or insurance experience required; full training provided.
