Class 2 HGV Skip/Waste Driver

• Location: Glasgow (East End)
• Salary: Up to £40,000 per year DOE (based on 45 hours/week)
• Hours: Full-Time, Day Shift
• Rota: 1 in 4 weekends
• OTE Available

We are working exclusively with a well-established waste management company based in Glasgow's East End, currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to operate skip lorries and waste collection vehicles. This is a permanent position offering excellent pay, stability, and progression. What’s on Offer:

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 2 skip lorries and waste vehicles across residential and commercial sites
• Complete daily vehicle checks and comply with transport regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service during collections and deliveries
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork in line with company procedures

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Minimum age 21 (insurance requirement)
• Maximum of 6 penalty points on licence
• Proven experience with skip lorries or similar waste vehicles
• Strong knowledge of road safety and transport compliance
• Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player
