Permanent Sub Agent Opportunity – Civil Engineering Projects
Our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, is looking to appoint a permanent Sub Agent to play a key role in delivering high-profile projects in the Central Belt of Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional seeking to make a significant impact on a major development
Role Overview
They are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to step into the role of Sub Agent, providing vital support across technical, quality, scheduling, and contractual aspects of project delivery. This position offers a varied workload, allowing you to develop into a dynamic and well-rounded Sub Agent
Key Responsibilities
Managing the construction site to ensure smooth and safe operations
Attending pre-start and progress meetings to align project objectives
Preparing site plans, risk assessments, and method statements
Overseeing cost control and scheduling to meet project deadlines
Ensuring all work complies with safety and environmental regulations
Reporting on contractual milestones to the client
Qualifications & Skills Required
Minimum HNC qualification in Civil Engineering
Experience in civil engineering within a contracting environment (preferred)
Familiarity with NEC contracts (desirable)
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to work away from home, as projects may be based across Scotland
