Location: Studio Based/Hybrid
We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and motivated Producer to join our games team in Glasgow. As a key member of our studio, you will oversee the production process, manage timelines, facilitate communication, and ensure our projects are delivered on time and within scope. Working closely with our talented developers, artists, designers, and writers, you will be the organizational cornerstone that drives our projects forward while fostering a creative, collaborative, and empowering environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Studio Heads to define, document, and maintain the project’s scope, schedule, and resource allocation, establishing realistic timelines and milestones for smooth project progression.
- Serve as the central point of contact across all teams, facilitating regular check-ins, resolving blockers, and ensuring clear, consistent communication.
- Be a key point of contact for clients via calls, emails and IM chats to ensure that their requirements are being met and their expectations managed appropriately.
- Track project progress against milestones, proactively adapt schedules as needed, and ensure high-quality deliverables at every stage of development.
- Work with Team Leads to prioritize tasks based on project goals, risks, and team feedback, maintaining an organized workflow and keeping the team focused on key objectives.
- Coordinate with QA to align testing schedules with development, manage bug tracking, and maintain high quality standards.
- Regularly provide project updates to stakeholders, clearly communicating risks, progress, and changes to timelines or scope.
- Identify potential risks early, propose solutions, and adjust plans to mitigate issues before they impact project success.
- Leverage project management tools (e.g., Trello, Jira, Asana) to organize tasks, monitor progress, and provide transparency to the team and stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Producer in the video game industry or similar creative industry.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with game development pipelines, from concept to release, and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., artists, designers, engineers).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for keeping teams informed, engaged, and motivated.
- A proactive problem-solver with a creative approach to keeping projects on track.
- Proficiency with project management tools like Jira (or similar) and familiarity with game development engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
- A genuine passion for video games and an understanding of game culture and trends.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Broad knowledge of game genres and platforms.
- Strong sense of gameplay and visual design.
- Additional game development-related technical skills or education.
