Job Overview
Job purpose
We are a well known and established Plumbing Merchants. We are growing our team and have an opportunity to recruit an apprentice to support our warehouse team.
Receiving and checking in of goods, checking and loading a delivery van. Putting goods into stock and generally keeping the store tidy. recording stock, recoding missing/damaged items, counter service at peak times, laying out customer orders, keeping an eye on stock levels.
The job will then lead on to serving customers at the counter, dealing with the paperwork processes and being generally involved in more of the day to day running of the branch.
You will learn how to record and store deliveries using our IT systems, customer service skills, how to manage your work load and working with others. You will learn all aspects of our business and how to communicate and work as part of a team in a busy warehouse environment.
Must be interested in developing a career with us, National 5 English and 4 national 5 qualifications. Must have good numeracy skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
