The Information Security and Supplier Risk function in FinRiA is responsible for the implementation, effectiveness and governance of the Firm's respective Information Security and Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) programs and policies within Global Finance, including regional specific coverage.

The Supplier Risk function advises Finance globally on appropriate risk standards for suppliers and communicates changes to supplier management practices. The TPRM Policy is designed to support effective identification, assessment, management and mitigation of risks associated with Third-Party relationships consistent with the Firm's risk tolerance; and to facilitate outsourcing and sourcing decisions being made with risk-based due consideration of the associated operational risks.

This role is for a Vice President who will act as a Finance Single Point of Contact ('SPOC') and will be a key point of escalation for Service Owners/Requestors and other stakeholders.

What will you be doing?

  • Participate in Firm-wide Third Party Risk related forums and governance committees in partnership with Third Party Program Management.
  • Manage the implementation of Firm wide Third Party Risk Management policy and procedures and assist with the review and periodic recertification of policy/program exceptions (Risk Acceptance) granted within the Finance division.
  • Direct Finance employees to ensure all divisional suppliers with services in scope for TPRM are logged in the Firm's tools (iShield).
  • Provide additional review for new and modified Finance owned services and related criticality ratings as appropriate.
  • Act as point of escalation for risk queries and issues identified by due diligence or control group assessments of Finance owned/requested services.
  • Provide guidance to Finance stakeholders on Risk Acceptances ('RA') to ensure appropriate assessment of residual risk and identification of mitigating controls.
  • Develop and distribute Finance TPRM communications, guidelines and training.
  • Maintain oversight and ownership of TPRM metrics for Finance risk reporting.
  • Manage one direct report to support Third Party requirements for Finance.
  • Assist in various ad-hoc and broader Finance Risk agenda topics.

What We’re Looking For

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent.
  • Prior Supplier Risk, Information Security, Business Continuity or Operational Risk Management experience a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to ability to summarise and present results back within an agreed timeline.
  • Critical dependency on strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with key stakeholders and Senior Management.
  • Critical thinking in order to challenge processes, solve for ad hoc queries and creativity to suggest alternative approaches.
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to collaborate and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders of varying seniority across Finance and other divisions.
  • Proficiency with data management, End User Computing Tools (spreadsheets and databases) and other standard computing applications (PowerPoint and Word).
  • Flexibility to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Time management and organisational skills enabling the achievement of tight deadlines on multiple concurrent tasks.
