Senior Service Delivery Analyst – IT Vessel Support & On-Board Technical Support with Travel Opportunities

As part of our IT Department, you won’t just be desk-bound. You’ll have the opportunity to travel to our managed vessels, providing critical on-board IT support, upgrades, and infrastructure management. What you’ll be doing:
- Ensuring the effective operation, support, and security of IT systems on vessels. This role bridges onboard systems and shore-based IT support, maintaining connectivity, performance, and cybersecurity compliance.
- On occasion, traveling to our managed vessels to perform IT refreshes, service transitions, and supporting Into Management procedures by ensuring vessel has a fully established IT Infrastructure.
- Providing expert remote and on-board IT support to crews in a multicultural environment.
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting a wide range of IT hardware and software aboard ships, including network devices, servers, laptops, and mobile technology.
- Collaborating on the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of vessel IT infrastructure.
- Ensuring system security, reliability, and performance across the fleet.
- Leading incident resolution and managing support tickets with a focus on service excellence.
- Collaborating with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues and introduce new solutions.
What we’re looking for:
- Unique blend of technical expertise, independence, and adaptability in a remote and potentially high-pressure setting
- Solid IT background with experience in networking, Windows Server, Active Directory, and remote support tools. Experience of satellite communicate (VSAT/LEO) would be beneficial but not mandatory
- Confidence with hands-on hardware troubleshooting and software deployment.
- Strong problem-solving skills paired with excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Ready and willing to travel regularly to support vessels and gain invaluable experience in maritime IT operations.
