Caledonia Recruitment are currently assisting a fantastic Logistics company to recruit a Road Freight Operator with strong experience in Import and Export throughout UK/Europe. The right candidate will also have experience in the drinks industry.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Road Freight Operator located in Aberdeen. The Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating various import and export road transportation to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods. Tasks include managing schedules, communicating with customers , tracking shipments, and resolving transportation issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management
• Experience in the transportation of drinks/alcohol
• Knowledge of road import and export transportation and processes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with transportation management systems is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
