We have an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist to join their team of staff in the Cardiology department.
This is a part- time role for 24 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

We have an opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist to join their team of staff in the Cardiology department.
This is a part- time role for 24 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties Of This Role Include
- Perform and interpret a wide range of non-invasive cardiac investigations including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and blood pressure monitoring.
- Carry out and report on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt table testing, and other functional assessments.
- Undertake and interpret echocardiograms (transthoracic, transoesophageal, and stress echo, if appropriately trained).
- Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and right heart studies.
- Monitor and record intra-cardiac pressures and waveforms during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Provide technical support during pacemaker, ICD, and CRT implantations.
- Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice.
- Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
- A degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics.
- Device qualification.
