This opportunity is based from Peak’s headquarters (HQ) in Inchinnan, just outside of Glasgow and is part of our busy Marketing team. The Marketing Assistant delivers a pivotal function in global marketing funnel management primarily through opportunity reporting, excel data formatting, Net Promoter Score syndication, reporting on marketing activity from key data sources as well as supporting the global marketing team’s content and communications tactics.
As the business system user, the Marketing Assistant will be responsible for raising orders, ensuring timely payment with colleagues in Accounts, raising Purchase Orders and pulling stock reports for marketing materials held at HQ.
Supporting the global business through actioning internal marketing support requests, liaising with Marketing colleagues to deliver an efficient, high quality service and output, the Marketing Assistant will also support the creation and delivery of marketing campaigns both from global and in regions to feed into the completion of Marketing, Commercial and Global Objectives.
Your duties will also include:
- Responsible for leading on website live chat engagement
- Supporting business through internal Marketing Support channel
- Managing marketing data enabling customer communications and support other business functions
- Pulling data and creating reports from business systems to support the business
- Responsible for marketing materials and liaising with local and orders teams as needed
- General marketing support including but not exclusive to website updates, Document Asset Management system document & user management, email marketing and social media support
- Provide global business cover for administering leads to sales & service sales functions using SAP B1 & Pipedrive enterprise systems
- Supporting the global marketing team in achieving departmental and business goals
Ideally you will have some experience of working with CRM and business systems and any previous experience or working within a B2B marketing role would be highly advantageous. More importantly, you’ll have exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail.
You will also possess:
- Degree level (equivalent) in Marketing
- Previous experience in B2B marketing
- The ability to multi-task whilst being highly organised
- Opportunity syndication experience advantageous
- Highly competent in excel data manipulation
- The self-motivation to use your initiative and adapt as part of a team
- Diligence and capability to work at a steady pace within a busy environment
