Overview

Join our Business Banking team on a 12-month contract. Ideal for candidates with banking or cashiering experience.

As an associate joining our Business Banking team means you will be contributing to integrating newly acquired businesses and aligning their banking arrangements with our strict Group policies. Success in this role necessitates outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills, tailored for a fast-paced setting.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Reporting to the Team Leader, you will process internal requests between AJG and all banking partners.
  • Maintain internal Finance records meticulously to ensure data accuracy and SOX compliance.
  • Prepare and communicate quarterly reviews of all banking platforms to department managers, validating user requirements.
  • Regularly communicate with Bank Relationship Managers to resolve issues affecting day-to-day operations.
  • Prepare necessary bank documentation to ensure bank mandates are current.
  • Seek appropriate approval from designated bank mandate signatories.
  • Ensure familiarity with all processes required to liaise with company Banks, facilitating efficient department operations.
  • Liaise with key business area contacts to ensure open and effective communication channels.
  • Highlight any issues with the Team Leader promptly.
  • Interact with Internal/External auditors as required.

About You

  • Minimum education of NAT5.
  • Experience in banking or cashiering.
  • Experience of manual reconciliations would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with both internal and external clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a good understanding of MS Office.
  • Ability to work strictly to deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor and presentation.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Capability to build and maintain robust working relationships internally and externally.
  • Analytical problem-solving approach.
  • Initiative and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Attitude that prioritises achieving outcomes.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
