Job Description
The Planner will be responsible for developing, coordinating and overseeing all aspects of project planning both at preconstruction stage as well as through delivery.
Your primary goal is to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
This role involves analysing data, managing schedules and forecasting future needs. You will have strong organisational skills, the ability to work cross-functionally, and a deep understanding of both preconstruction and operational process.

Job Requirements
Essential:
- 3-5 years of experience in planning or project management.
- Experience working within construction, civil engineering or a main contractor.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in planning software
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
Desirable:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Project Management, or related field.
- Create project programmes at preconstruction stage outlining milestones, tasks, and deadlines and help develop the construction methodology.
- Work closely with bid managers, project managers, designers, production teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and timelines.
- Coordinating with various departments to ensure progress is monitored and reported.
- Monitoring project progress against the schedule, identifying potential delays or issues, and taking corrective action.
- Analyse historical data to predict future needs and plan accordingly. This includes anticipating potential bottlenecks and proactively addressing them.
- Identify potential risks to the schedule or budget and develop contingency plans to mitigate those risks.
- Regularly analyse project performance data, generating reports and providing insights to inform decision-making.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimise resources.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, new construction laws and regulations, and health and safety standards
