Are you an experienced Estimator looking to join a well-established and growing contractor operating within the rail and infrastructure sector?Our client, a reputable and expanding principal contractor, is seeking a confident and detail-driven Estimator to support their continued growth in Scotland. With a solid order book and projects ranging from rail infrastructure and civils to M\&E packages, this is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a collaborative and forward-thinking commercial team.As Estimator, you'll play a vital role in the successful delivery of tender submissions across a variety of multi-disciplinary projects. You'll work closely with internal teams and supply chain partners to prepare accurate, competitive, and commercially sound estimates.**Key Responsibilities:* Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for rail and infrastructure works* Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing* Support the pre-construction and delivery teams with budget advice and cost planning* Attend site visits and tender meetings as requiredRequirements:* Proven experience as an Estimator within the rail, infrastructure or construction sectors* Strong understanding of NEC contracts and cost build-up* Excellent analytical and communication skills* Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office* Full UK driving licenceThe Offer:* Competitive salary* Company benefits package including pension and holiday allowance* Opportunities for career progression and professional development* A supportive working environment with a focus on innovation and qualityIf you would like more information or to apply, please feel free to contact Jamie Nicholson using the details provided.
