Truck Driver & Warehouse OperativeLocation: CambuslangSalary:£28,000 per annum

Role OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and skilled
Truck Driver & Warehouse Operativeto join our logistics team. This dual-role position involves transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, as well as assisting in warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be trained to operate a forklift (reach & counterbalance) and will contribute to maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDriving & Delivery:Safely transport goods to designated locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Secure loads appropriately and ensure they are loaded in the correct order for drops. Conduct vehicle maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
Adhere to current driving legislation and always drive in a safe manner. Address customer requirements and resolve any issues that arise during deliveries. Return to the Service Centre promptly after completing drops to make yourself available for other work.
Warehouse Operations:Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles. Operate forklifts (training provided) to move and arrange stock within the warehouse. Ensure materials are off-loaded and distributed efficiently and cost-effectively.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. Adhere to the Companys Health and Safety Policy and Safe Working Practices.
Contribute to improving business performance and profitability. RequirementsValid driving licence (C+E or equivalent). No more than 6 points on the licence.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan routes effectively. Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on the road.
Willingness to assist in warehouse operations and undergo forklift training. Why Join Us?
