What You'll Do

As a Deputy Design Manager, you'll work alongside experienced professionals to support the design development and coordination of a large-scale healthcare facility. You'll gain hands-on experience in:

  • Supporting our consultant teams to maximise their effectiveness and value optimisation in the provision of effective integrated design solutions that meet our clients our business needs (strategies and budgets).
  • Maximising the effectiveness of consultant relationships.
  • Reviewing design delivery to enhance quality of solutions and efficiency of design, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, commissioning and handover of total engineering excellent solutions for our clients.
  • Supporting our consultants in adopting LOR's design processes, deliver with rigour and quality project management processes and to ensure effective collaboration throughout the supply chain (using appropriate tools for this including, but not limited to, BIM/Digital Engineering).
  • Capturing business knowledge and capability enabling continuous improvement, innovation and improved capability towards an Engineering Enterprise.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

  • First degree in Architecture or other appropriate construction related qualification.
  • Approx 5 years' experience. Different procurement routes, different sector experience.
