Join Careys’ innovative Design Team as an Associate Design Engineer and lead the design of safe, efficient temporary works for complex, high-profile construction projects. You’ll combine structural engineering expertise with practical buildability insights—bringing solutions to life through sketches, sequences, and models.

What you will do:

• Lead and mentor Design Engineers and Technicians
• Deliver temporary works designs that are fast, economic, and safe
• Communicate build solutions clearly—through drawings, reports, and sequences
• Collaborate across teams to ensure practical, buildable solutions
• Explore new techniques and share innovations with peers

What You will bring:

• Chartered Engineer (IStructE or similar)
• Strong expertise in structural and geotechnical design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and design software (e.g. Robot, Wallap)
• Clear communicator and confident leader
• Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration
