Senior Solicitor / Associate (3+ PQE) – Employment

Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)

Salary: £54,500 - £70,000 DOE + Benefits

We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly regarded Scottish law firm to recruit for their growing Employment team based in Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Employment Solicitor looking to join a collaborative and ambitious firm where you will work closely with an experienced Partner and wider specialist team, advising a broad client base across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

The Role

You will be involved in a varied and high-quality caseload, supporting clients across a wide range of employment law issues including workplace disputes, restructuring and redundancy processes, TUPE matters, employee relations issues and day-to-day HR advisory work.

The role will also include drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and procedures, preparing tribunal submissions and witness statements, supporting clients through legal proceedings and delivering employment law training to clients on key legislative and practical topics.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with clients across a range of sectors, building trusted relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the Employment team.

About You

The firm is keen to hear from Solicitors with 3+ years’ PQE in Employment Law gained within either a commercial private practice environment or an in-house setting with strong employment law exposure.

You will be a confident communicator with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage client expectations, competing priorities and deadlines effectively. The successful candidate will be commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Experience advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters is essential.
