Associate / Senior Associate - Professional Indemnity (6-10 yrs PQE)

Salary from £67,000 to £90,000 + Bonus

We have partnered with a specialist, international practice as they look for an Associate or Senior Associate to join their team in Glasgow. You'll join a modern, niche firm offering high-quality cases alongside respected experts in the field.


They have a strong presence across the UK and internationally, and the Glasgow office is very much in growth mode with ambitious plans to expand its offering. They've had recent lateral hires from major national firms and have positioned themselves in a very competitive place within the market.


The Role

You'll work as part of a busy and collaborative Professional Indemnity team, acting on behalf of a wide range of insurer clients. The caseload will include:

• High-value and complex claims against solicitors, accountants, IFAs and surveyors.
• Construction related professional indemnity claims involving architects, engineers and contractors.
• Advising professional clients and insurers on strategy, coverage and cost reserves.
• Handling claims from policy response through to resolution, including ADR and adjudication.
• Preparing reports and clear, strategic advice for insurers.
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members.
• Identifying and contributing to business development opportunities.
  

What We're Looking For

• Scottish or Dual qualified Solicitor with ideally 6-10 years PQE
• Strong background in Professional Indemnity, Commercial Litigation or Construction Disputes
• Confident handling complex and high-value claims independently.
