Financial Reporting Manager

We’re working with a highly regarded, successful and growing business based in Glasgow to appoint a Financial Reporting Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant seeking a second move from practice into a commercially focused, progressive environment.

The Role

Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll take ownership of financial reporting while also supervising one direct report, providing early leadership exposure with the potential for further growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Managing the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors
• Supporting technical accounting matters and continuous improvement initiatives
• Coaching and developing your team member
• Partnering with key stakeholders across the business

About You

• Qualified accountant (CA /ACCA or equivalent)
• Ideally a second mover from practice looking for the next challenge
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business
• Organised, proactive, and keen to develop leadership skills
