Role Overview

As the Retail Manager, you will be the face of VAPE BRAND in the field, working directly with our wholesale partners at their warehouses and retail points of sale. You will ensure our products are perfectly presented, our promotions are executed flawlessly, and our client relationships stay stronger than ever. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Glasgow.


Working Hours

10:00 – 19:00 (including lunch break)


Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Support: Provide daily on-site support at wholesale partners’ warehouse and retail locations, ensuring excellent product display and promotion execution.
  • Client Relationship Management: Visit clients regularly to understand their needs, maintain long-term partnerships, and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Problem Solving: Act as the first point of contact for client issues, quickly coordinating with internal teams to resolve product, logistics, or sales concerns.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, track competitor activity, and deliver actionable insights to support sales strategy.
  • Sales Optimisation: Help clients manage their inventory to keep stock levels healthy and the full SKU range available.
  • Training & Coaching: Deliver product knowledge and sales technique training to wholesalers and retailers, boosting in-store sell-through.
  • Promotional Execution: Assist in planning and executing local promotional activities to grow market share and sales performance.


Requirements

  • Experience: Background in retail management, wholesale channel support, or field marketing. Experience in FMCG, consumer electronics, or retail is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills with a knack for client relationship management. Resourceful problem-solver able to handle on-the-spot challenges independently.
  • Mindset: High sense of ownership, proactive attitude, resilience under pressure, and a genuine passion for working on the front line.
  • Work Authorisation: Must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Language: Fluency in English is essential.
