Senior Marketing Executive

• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 DOE

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Executive responsible for driving growth across key customer channels by developing and delivering impactful, insight-led marketing strategies. This role is critical in bridging sales and marketing, ensuring customers are equipped with the tools, insights, and activations needed to enhance their product offering and maximise commercial performance.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Customer & Channel Strategy:

  • Develop and deliver annual customer marketing plans across key channels.
  • Build clear, differentiated channel strategies.
  • Align marketing activity with wider commercial priorities.

• Insight & Market Understanding:

  • Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity.
  • Translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Use data to optimise performance and improve ROI.

• Campaigns, Activations & Promotions:

  • Develop and execute customer campaigns and promotional activity.
  • Create point-of-sale materials, toolkits, and activation plans.
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements.

• Sales Enablement & Customer Support:

  • Equip sales teams with effective marketing tools and collateral.
  • Support tenders and key customer engagements.
  • Partner with account managers to identify growth opportunities.

• Customer Relationships:

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Attend meetings and site visits where required.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams.

• Product Marketing & NPD:

  • Support new product development and launches.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify growth opportunities within the portfolio.

• Projects & Delivery:

  • Manage marketing projects end-to-end.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and suppliers.
  • Ensure delivery on time and within budget.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer or trade marketing.
• Experience working closely with sales teams.
• Proven track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns.
• Strong project management skills.
• Commercial and analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Proactive, customer-focused, and creative approach.
