We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established team within the fast-paced FMCG industry. This role is based outside Glasgow and involves providing comprehensive HR support to ensure the organisation's human resources function runs smoothly.

Description

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Support line managers with employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding process to attract and retain top talent.
  • Monitor and report on key HR metrics to support organisational decision-making.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Support learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance.

Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar HR role within the FMCG industry.
  • A strong understanding of HR policies, employment law, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience handling employee relations cases with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using HR systems and tools for reporting and record-keeping.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent would be advantageous.
