As we continue to grow, we're expanding our Operations Team and are looking for experienced and motivated Billing Analysts to play a key role in delivering exceptional client service.

As a Billing Analyst, you'll help manage utility accounts for a portfolio of clients, working closely with our Account Managers to ensure accurate billing, resolve issues, and proactively identify opportunities for savings.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing utility billing across electricity, gas and water accounts
• Validating invoices and ensuring accuracy of costs and consumption data
• Recording and maintaining data within internal validation and CRM systems
• Acting as a primary billing contact for clients, delivering a high standard of service
• Handling billing queries and liaising with suppliers to resolve issues
• Managing meter readings and submitting them to relevant suppliers
• Identifying discrepancies, unusual patterns, or opportunities for savings
• Maintaining accurate records, notes, and correspondence (CRM, Systemslink, and SharePoint)
• Working collaboratively with Account Managers and Consultants, providing updates and insight
• Assist manage clients and suppliers via telephone, e-mail, meetings, and our query management system
• Carrying out proactive reviews to identify and prevent issues before they arise

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong analytical skills and a commitment to delivering excellent client service.

Essential:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Billing Analyst or similar role within the UK utilities sector
• Strong understanding of UK utility invoices and billing structures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable:

• Knowledge of the UK energy market (Domestic, SME and Commercial sectors)
• Understanding of the UK water market, including differences between Scotland and England
• Experience using Systemslink (Energy Manager)

We will also consider candidates with the right attitude and strong numerical and literacy skills, even if their energy experience is not extensive.
