Class 2 Driver / Warehouse Operative

Taskmaster Resources are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client in Glasgow, for a Class 2 Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety within their role, combining Class 2 driving duties with warehouse support as required.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver / Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out Class 2 deliveries as and when required.
• Providing holiday and sickness cover for existing drivers.
• Supporting during busy periods and additional overflow requirements.
• Driving company vans when required.
• Assisting within the warehouse when not out on deliveries.
• Picking orders and preparing stock.
• General housekeeping and maintaining warehouse standards.
• Supporting with products including wheelbarrows, brushes and signage.
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive team.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30am – 5:00pm
• Earlier starts may be required depending on delivery schedules.
• 20-minute morning break.
• One-hour unpaid lunch break.

About You

Applicants must possess:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous multidrop driving experience would be advantageous.
• A flexible and positive attitude.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
