We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a leading Financial Services organisation on a long-term transformation programme. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex technology and business change initiatives within a highly regulated environment.

The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, helping to define requirements, drive solution design, and support the successful delivery of strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse, and document detailed business and technical requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and project managers to define and deliver solutions.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Facilitate workshops, process mapping sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
• Support solution design, data analysis, systems integration, and testing activities.
• Produce high-quality documentation including BRDs, user stories, process flows, and gap analyses.
• Ensure solutions align with regulatory and operational requirements within a Financial Services environment.
• Support change management and implementation activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles and change programmes.
• Experience gathering and documenting both business and technical requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage across business and technology teams.
• Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working with Azure technologies and cloud-based solutions.
• Knowledge of data migration, systems integration, or API-driven projects.
• Exposure to enterprise-scale transformation programmes.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within Financial Services.

Contract Details

• Location: Glasgow (Hybrid Working – 2-3 days onsite per week)
• Contract Length: 12-month initial contract
• Engagement Type: Inside IR35
• Start Date: ASAP
