Job Opportunity: Senior Solicitor/Associate – Contentious Construction

Location: Glasgow (hybrid and flexible working options available)

Overview:

A leading Construction & Engineering disputes team is seeking a Solicitor with 1-5 years' PQE to join a busy and collaborative group. The role offers the chance to work on complex, high-value disputes across Scotland and the UK, advising clients including developers, funders, insurers and contractors.

Role Requirements:

• 1-5 years' post-qualification experience in contentious construction matters
• Knowledge of litigation, arbitration, adjudication and mediation processes
• Ability to advise on risk, commercial strategy and resolution options
• Comfortable working directly with clients and building lasting relationships

Skills

• Advocacy experience and confidence in hearings and tribunals
• Strong analytical and drafting ability
• Clear, adaptable communication skills
• Collaborative approach for large, multi-party cases
