Business Development Manager

Location: Glasgow (Office / Field-Based)
Contract: 12 month ( Potential to go Perm)
Salary: £45,000 (OTE £60,000+)
Reports to: Head of Sales

This role involves developing new business within the construction sector, managing sales activity, and maintaining client relationships. The position covers the full sales cycle from initial contact through to onboarding.

• Identify and secure new business within the construction sector

• Manage the full sales process from prospecting to onboarding

• Maintain and update a pipeline of sales opportunities

• Record all activity accurately within the CRM system

• Provide regular sales forecasts and updates

• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and presentations

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

• Attend industry events to support lead generation

• Use digital platforms and networking to support business development

• Ensure accuracy in proposals, communication, and reporting

• Manage workload to meet agreed targets and deadlines
  
  

• Experience in business development or sales

• Background in construction or security services preferred

• Experience in a B2B sales environment

• Ability to manage client relationships

• Strong communication skills

• Experience using CRM systems

• Good organisation and time management

• Full UK driving licence
