Job Location: Glasgow (Hybrid - 3 days in the office

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage and deliver projects for a banking client. The role involves planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring successful delivery of projects within scope, time, cost, and quality parameters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project delivery from initiation to closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including business, operations, technology, and vendors.
• Track project progress, manage risks and issues, and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure adherence to governance, quality standards, and client expectations.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and provide clear communication to stakeholders.
• Manage change requests and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support PMO reporting, metrics tracking, and audits as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).
• Experience managing multiple workstreams and dependencies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities.

Tools & Technology

• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting dashboards.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification.
• Prior experience working with banking clients or regulated environments.
• Exposure to operations, technology, or transformation projects within banking.
