D R Newitt Recruitment

Pulpex is a pioneering fibre packaging company delivering scalable, renewable packaging solutions. Their fibre-based, first-of-its-kind bottles uses cutting-edge innovation to drive significant change in the eco-packaging space.

In the UK, more than 38.5 million plastic bottles are used every day, with approximately 16 million ending up in landfill, being incinerated, or polluting our environment and waterways. The UK’s 25-Year Environment Plan aims to double resource productivity and eliminate avoidable plastic waste by 2050. Companies like Pulpex are vital for delivering affordable, scalable solutions that support a more sustainable future for consumer goods and professional products.

Pulpex are now looking to appoint a QA Analyst to join the team! This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment where quality, innovation and continuous improvement are central to everything they do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out quality checks, inspections and testing to ensure products meet required standards and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate quality records, reports and documentation.
  • Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Monitor compliance with quality systems, procedures and GMP/ISO standards where applicable.
  • Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Support internal audits, supplier quality activities and continuous improvement projects.
  • Help maintain a safe, compliant and quality-focused manufacturing environment.

About You

  • Previous experience within a quality, QA, QC or laboratory role in manufacturing, FMCG, packaging, food, beverage, chemical or pharmaceutical environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of quality systems and compliance processes.
  • Ability to investigate issues and support problem-solving activities.
