Financial Controller | Hybrid (3 days in office) | Glasgow

HRC Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a well-established, large-scale business to appoint a Financial Controller into their Glasgow-based finance team.

This is a key leadership role within a complex, high-performing environment, offering the opportunity to take ownership of financial reporting and play a critical role in driving best practice across the function.

The Role:

• Lead the delivery of accurate and timely financial and statutory reporting
• Take ownership of month-end and year-end processes
• Ensure compliance with current financial reporting standards and accounting regulations
• Act as a technical expert across the business, supporting on complex accounting matters
• Partner with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business

About You:

• Fully qualified accountant (CA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Significant experience operating within a large, complex company
• Strong technical accounting background, including financial and statutory accounts
• Up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/UK GAAP)
• Confident operating in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment
• Able to start working at short notice
