Macgregor Black are partnering with a leading organisation, seeking a Cyber Compliance Analyst to support the development of its cyber governance, assurance and compliance capabilities. This is a hybrid role, based in Manchester or Glasgow.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in strengthening security frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance and embedding best practice across the business. Working closely with technology, risk and operational teams, you'll help drive a culture of security, governance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support cyber governance, compliance and assurance activities across the organisation
- Monitor adherence to security policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Assist with cyber maturity assessments and improvement initiatives
- Contribute to GDPR, data governance and emerging AI governance programmes
- Develop and maintain cyber security policies, standards and procedures
- Conduct control reviews and identify opportunities to strengthen security controls
- Partner with stakeholders to embed security and compliance requirements into business processes
- Support risk assessment, reporting and remediation activities
- Work alongside auditors, third-party providers and security partners
- Produce governance reports, compliance documentation and management information
What We're Looking For:
- Experience within Cyber Security Governance, Compliance, Assurance, Information Security or Technology Risk
- Strong understanding of GDPR and wider regulatory compliance requirements
- Knowledge of cyber security frameworks, controls and governance principles
- Experience supporting audits, risk management or compliance monitoring activities
- Ability to communicate technical security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong policy writing, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working within regulated or compliance-focused environments
- Excellent organisational, communication and analytical capabilities

Salary £60,000 - £68,000 (depending on experience).
