  • Produce regular planning outputs, including progress reports, critical path analysis, and earned value data
  • Lead programme review meetings with internal teams, clients, and supply chain partners
  • Integrate subcontractor and specialist programmes (including utilities and energy packages) into the master programme
  • Provide programme input for commercial processes, including variations, claims, and extension of time submissions
  • Ensure compliance with planning standards and promote best practice across the project lifecycle

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Planner or Senior Planner within civil engineering or infrastructure projects, ideally with exposure to energy or utilities schemes
  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject
  • Experience delivering large-scale projects such as substations, power generation, grid infrastructure, or utility frameworks is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, and risk within complex engineering environments
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent analytical, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
  • Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (preferred)

Desirable

  • Experience within energy frameworks (e.g. power, transmission & distribution, renewables, or utilities)
  • Knowledge of NEC forms of contract and programme requirements
  • Experience supporting claims and dispute resolution
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (APM, ICE, CIOB)

What's on Offer

  • Opportunity to work on strategically important energy infrastructure projects
  • Strong pipeline of secured and upcoming work within the energy sector
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
