Gas Engineer - #2092563

As part of our ongoing expansion, SOLIS Group is looking for an experienced and fully qualified Gas Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of gas systems and appliances across a range of domestic and/or commercial properties. The role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and full compliance with UK gas regulations. Key Responsibilities

• To undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.
• To provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
• Install, service, and maintain gas appliances, heating systems, and associated equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults in boilers, heating systems, and gas pipelines.
• Carry out safety inspections, issue relevant certification, and ensure full regulatory compliance (Gas Safe standards).
• Respond to emergency callouts and breakdowns as required.
• Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with clients.
• Complete accurate job reports, service records, and risk assessments.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to meet operational targets.

Key Requirements

• Gas Safe Registration (essential).
• Recognised gas engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Gas Installation and Maintenance or equivalent).
• Commercial Combustion Gas Safe Qualifications CCN1 and COCN1 are required while additional modules such as ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, CENWAT, and other relevant domestic qualifications are considered advantageous..
• Experience working on domestic and/or commercial gas systems.
• Sound knowledge of UK gas safety regulations and best practices.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts.
