  • le:The purpose of the role is to provide senior quantity surveying support to project infrastructure procurements, pre-contract commercial activities and the associated costing activiti
  • es.The role will require ongoing interaction with the Commercial team as well as the wider JPT with an emphasis on working closely with the Project Manager to maintain an understanding of procurement strategies, project schedules and commercial deliverabl
  • es.Lead the development of cost plans, estimates, tender evaluations and commercial reporting throughout the pre-contract pha
  • se.Support in the delivery of periodic performance reporting and commercial assurance activiti
  • es.The role would typically be expected to be conducted in a hybrid working arrangement from Glasgow City Centre (3 days office, 2 days Wf

  • cts.Review and assure contractor CE quotations, supporting Commercial and project te
  • ams.Attend programme/commercial meetings and report on contract management metrics and procurement progr
  • ess.Provide commercial advice (e.g. procurement strategy, retention release, payment and default notices, EOT entitleme
  • nt).Undertake tender evaluations and provide recommendations for contract aw
  • ard.Draft responses for Early Warnings, compensation events, quotations and instructi
  • ons.Lead payment assessments, cost forecasting and commercial reporting to the
  • PM.Manage PO values and invoic
  • ing.Administer CEMAR and support weekly EW and commercial meeti
  • ngs.Provide updates on payments, forecasts, risk, opportunities and cost assurance activities, including risk meeti
