Looking to build your career in Credit Control?

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to add a Credit Controller to join their Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some previous credit control experience who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and growing organisation.

The Role

This is a varied and hands-on position where you'll be responsible for managing the credit control process across multiple business entities while building positive relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.

Your duties will include:

• Managing customer accounts and collecting outstanding debt
• Chasing overdue payments via telephone and email
• Cash allocation and posting customer receipts
• Reconciling customer accounts and resolving account queries
• Liaising with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies
• Preparing aged debt reports
• Supporting month-end and year-end finance processes
• Maintaining accurate customer account records
• Assisting with general accounts receivable administration

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys communicating with people, is highly organised and has a keen eye for detail.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience within Credit Control or Accounts Receivable (around 1–2 years is ideal)
• Good understanding of debt collection, cash allocation and account reconciliations
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A confident and professional telephone manner
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your workload
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
