Reed Technology is working with a Glasgow based company, as they look to add an Android Developer to their team developing real-time communication apps and accessibility solutions that make a real difference for people worldwide.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications
- Build intuitive, user-facing features with a strong focus on UI/UX
- Integrate and consume RESTful APIs and external services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design and backend engineering
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development practices
Requirements:
- Strong experience in Android native development (Java / Kotlin)
- Experience building front-end/mobile user interfaces
- Experience integrating and working with APIs
- Good understanding of UX/UI principles
- Bonus: exposure to C# or Swift
Benefits:
- Permanent position
- Salary up to £50.000 / year.
- Hybrid working model - up to 2 days onsite per week
