Pertemps are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a prestigious organisation for an experienced Procurement Business Partner to join their commercial team on a 12-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with extensive experience to play a key role in shaping procurement strategy, partnering with senior stakeholders, and delivering compliant, value-driven procurement solutions across a diverse portfolio.
The Role Working closely with Directors and senior leadership teams, you will provide strategic procurement support, oversee complex procurement activity, and ensure commercial best practice is embedded across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior stakeholders to develop and manage procurement plans.
- Lead end-to-end procurement exercises in line with currentmlegislation.
- Provide commercial advice on procurement strategy, contract management and supplier performance.
- Monitor contract spend, governance and compliance.
- Support supplier relationship management and contract performance reviews.
- Deliver procurement training and guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure procurement activity represents best value and minimises commercial risk.
- Drive continuous improvement across procurement processes and systems.
- Significant procurement experience.
- Strong knowledge of Government Commercial standards and procurement legislation.
- Experience managing complex procurement projects independently.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Contract and supplier management experience.
- Ideally CIPS Level 4 qualified (or working towards) with substantial procurement experience.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- 12-month contract
