This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join an established litigation team based in Glasgow. The role offers exposure to a broad mix of complex, high-value disputes, including property litigation, commercial disputes and professional negligence, with genuine scope to influence the future direction of the team.

With succession planning firmly in mind, this position would suit a Senior Associate who enjoys taking ownership of significant matters while also contributing strategically to the growth and development of a litigation practice.

The role

You’ll lead on substantial litigation matters from start to finish, advising clients on strategy, risk and resolution. The caseload will include complex disputes across property and commercial litigation, as well as professional negligence claims, acting for both pursuers (often via insurers) and defenders.

Alongside managing your own matters, you’ll support the strategic growth of the dispute resolution team, mentor and develop junior colleagues and contribute to the continued evolution of the wider litigation offering.

About You:

This role would suit a Dispute Resolution Senior Associate who:

• Has 6+ years’ PQE in dispute resolution
• Has a track record managing complex litigation matters
• Has experience across property and commercial disputes
• Is comfortable acting for both pursuers and defenders
• Communicates clearly and confidently with clients
• Brings commercial awareness and strong organisational skills
• Enjoys mentoring others and working collaboratively
