Take over an established client bank from day one, with no requirement to bring clients with you.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Planner who wants to focus on delivering high quality advice and developing existing client relationships, rather than spending years building a portfolio from scratch.

You'll inherit a loyal bank of high net worth clients and be supported by dedicated paraplanning and administration teams, allowing you to focus on client outcomes, relationship management and growing assets under management.

Just as importantly, you'll join a business that has retained a genuinely personal feel. Client relationships are built for the long term, advisers have a voice, and there is a strong culture of doing the right thing for clients rather than simply chasing short term targets.

About the firm

Our client is a well-established wealth management business with a strong reputation for delivering personalised financial planning advice to private clients and families.

Despite continued growth, the business has maintained a collaborative and supportive culture where people are listened to and valued. Advisers are trusted to manage client relationships and are given the flexibility and support needed to deliver excellent outcomes.

The firm operates a whole of market advice proposition supported by a centralised investment approach, providing the freedom to deliver tailored solutions while benefiting from a robust and well-resourced infrastructure.

What you'll do

  • Take ownership of an existing client portfolio with significant AUM
  • Deliver holistic financial planning advice across pensions, investments, retirement planning and estate planning
  • Conduct regular client reviews and identify ongoing planning opportunities
  • Build trusted, long term relationships with high net worth individuals and families
  • Work closely with paraplanners and administrators to deliver a seamless client experience
  • Maintain accurate and compliant client records in line with FCA requirements
  • Develop relationships with professional introducers and referral partners
  • Ensure clients receive advice aligned to their objectives and changing circumstances

What you'll need

  • Experience working as a Financial Planner within a regulated environment
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and wider financial planning strategies
  • Ability to manage client relationships independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified
  • Full UK driving licence

Benefits

  • Salary £55,000 to £80,000
  • £7,500 car allowance
  • Performance related bonus
  • £5,000 salary increase for Chartered status
  • Existing client bank provided
  • Dedicated paraplanning and administration support
  • Whole of market advice proposition
  • Hybrid working
  • Long term career opportunity within a growing business
