Job Role of the Machine Technician

Want to take your engineering career to the next level? We're looking for a Semi-Skilled Engineer or Machine Setter to join a busy production environment where you'll be hands-on from day one. You'll be responsible for setting and adjusting machinery, carrying out first-line fault finding and supporting engineers with breakdowns and PPMs. If you're mechanically minded, have experience with production machinery and want to develop your skills into a fully multi-skilled engineer, this could be the perfect next step.

Sector - Factory Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Machine Technician

• Experience in machine maintenance or machine minding within a manufacturing environment.
• Background in any manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to work both days and nights on a rotating shift pattern.

Requirements for the Machine Technician

• Hands-on approach to machine maintenance and fault finding.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Good understanding of health & safety within manufacturing.

Desirable Requirements for the Machine Technician

• Previous experience in a similar Machine Technician or Machine Minder role.
• Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge.
