Do you have a background using AutoCAD or a degree in Engineering? Are you looking for a hands-on technical design role with an industry specialist working on cutting edge technology, where you will be developed within a tight-knit team and given dedicated training to progress over the long-term?

On offer is the opportunity to join a thriving technology business whose devices are used across sectors including telecommunications and aerospace. They produce cutting edge equipment across photonics and wireless technology.

This varied role, will see you report into 2 senior engineers, you will primarily draw using AutoCAD, develop automated scripting software using Python, support the operations team, maintain CAD libraries, templates and documentation. This is a Monday to Friday, 40 hr week.

This role would suit a Junior or Graduate with a background using AutoCAD, looking for a hands-on design role with a company who will develop you technically and an excellent environment where you can progress your career.

The Role:

• Design of photonics / semiconductor devices using AutoCAD
• Coding using Python
• Collaborate with internal teams to continually improve processes and products
• Maintain documentation and CAD libraries
• Monday to Friday - 40 hr week

The Person:

• Background in Design or Engineering
• Background using AutoCAD
• Commutable to Glasgow
