Registered Care Manager – Domiciliary Care

Location: West Glasgow
Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Care Manager to lead our domiciliary care service in West Glasgow.

The Role

As Registered Care Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the effective management and delivery of the domiciliary care service. You will lead a dedicated team, ensure regulatory compliance and work closely with clients, families and professionals to maintain excellent standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the domiciliary care service
• Ensure compliance with relevant Care Inspectorate standards and regulations
• Lead, support and develop the care team
• Manage recruitment, induction, supervision and performance
• Ensure care plans and risk assessments are accurate and regularly reviewed
• Monitor the quality and safety of care being delivered
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, families and healthcare professionals
• Manage staffing, rotas and service delivery
• Deal effectively with safeguarding concerns, incidents and complaints
• Complete regular audits and implement continuous improvements
• Promote a positive culture focused on high-quality, person-centred care

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Have proven management experience within domiciliary care
• Have a strong understanding of Care Inspectorate requirements
• Be an effective and confident team leader
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be able to manage a busy service and prioritise effectively
• Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and care standards
• Be passionate about supporting people to remain independent in their own homes
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity and strong decision-making skills
