Anderson Knight is delighted to be working with an established business to recruit a Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and fast paced organisation where you'll play a key role in supporting senior leadership with financial insight and helping to drive business performance.

Reporting into the finance leadership team, you'll be responsible for producing meaningful financial information, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and providing analysis that helps shape business decisions. This role offers exposure across the wider business and would suit someone looking to further develop their commercial and management accounting experience within an established business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting reports.
• Analyse financial performance and identify key trends, risks and opportunities.
• Produce management information, dashboards and KPIs for senior stakeholders.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process, monitoring performance against targets.
• Carry out variance analysis and provide clear explanations of significant movements.
• Provide financial insight to support operational and strategic decision making.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls and efficiencies.
• Work closely with stakeholders across the established business to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
• Assist with month end and year end activities, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Support the wider finance team with ad hoc analysis and project work as required.

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

• Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA
• Previous experience in a similar management accounting role.
• Strong Excel skills and experience using finance systems such as Sage, Xero, Oracle, or similar.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced and evolving environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate findings clearly.
• Confident building relationships with stakeholders at all levels across the established business.
