Your new role
As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a broad range of professional and project-led services. You will be involved in a diverse mix of projects including:

• Refurbishment and redevelopment of commercial offices, retail units, and mixed-use schemes
• Condition surveys and life cycle assessments across varied property portfolios
• Dilapidations (acting for both landlord and tenant) on high-value commercial assets
• Contract administration and project management for fit-outs, renovations, and upgrades
• Technical due diligence for acquisitions and disposals
• Work on historic and listed buildings, requiring a sensitive and informed approach.
• Insurance reinstatement projects following damage

This is a client-facing position where you will manage instructions from inception to completion, providing expert advice while building strong and lasting client relationships.

What you'll need to succeed

• MRICS qualified (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in building surveying, ideally across a mix of professional services and project work
• Strong technical knowledge of construction, building pathology, and contract administration
• Experience handling commercial property instructions is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• Full UK driving licence
