The Role As a Light Vehicle / Commercial Van Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a range of light commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on light commercial vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues
- Complete all work efficiently and to a high standard
- Ensure repairs are carried out in line with manufacturer and safety standards
- Identify faults and recommend appropriate repairs
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
- Work collaboratively with the wider workshop team
- Previous experience as an LCV, Light Vehicle or Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Strong servicing, diagnostic and repair skills
- Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability
- Experience using diagnostic equipment and interpreting fault codes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A professional and reliable approach
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience with manufacturer systems and processes
- Knowledge of Hybrid or EV vehicle maintenance
- MOT Tester qualification
- Up to £46,000 basic salary
- Monday to Friday working pattern
