Our client is looking for an experienced Light Vehicle Technician / Commercial Van Technician to join their busy workshop in Glasgow . This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to develop their career within a professional and supportive workshop environment, with ongoing training and development available.

The Role As a Light Vehicle / Commercial Van Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a range of light commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on light commercial vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues
• Complete all work efficiently and to a high standard
• Ensure repairs are carried out in line with manufacturer and safety standards
• Identify faults and recommend appropriate repairs
• Maintain accurate records of work completed
• Work collaboratively with the wider workshop team

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an LCV, Light Vehicle or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Strong servicing, diagnostic and repair skills
• Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and interpreting fault codes
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A professional and reliable approach
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Skills

• Experience with manufacturer systems and processes
• Knowledge of Hybrid or EV vehicle maintenance
• MOT Tester qualification
