About the opportunity:

Are you passionate about turning complex data into strategic insight? Do you thrive on improving processes, implementing systems and helping senior leaders make better decisions?

The Offshore Wind Growth Partnership (OWGP) is seeking an experienced Planning & Performance Manager (12 month FTC) to play a critical role in shaping organisational performance, driving operational excellence, and supporting the delivery of the UK's Offshore Wind Industrial Growth Plan.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation at the heart of the UK's energy transition, where your work will directly influence strategic decision-making, drive continuous improvement, and support growth across the UK's offshore wind supply chain.

The Opportunity

Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of planning and performance management frameworks, ensuring accurate, insightful, and actionable reporting across a diverse programme portfolio.

This is far more than a reporting role. You'll analyse delivery performance, identify risks and opportunities, improve systems and processes, and create meaningful performance measures that support both operational and strategic decision-making. You'll also have the opportunity to review and enhance current reporting platforms, driving automation and efficiencies that improve organisational effectiveness.

Working closely with stakeholders across strategy, finance, programme delivery and leadership teams, you'll become the trusted expert on performance, helping leaders understand what the data is telling them, what risks may be emerging, and where action is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and performance reporting activities across the organisation.
  • Develop and enhance KPI, OKR and performance management frameworks.
  • Produce executive-level reporting for senior leadership, board and governance forums.
  • Analyse performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and improvement actions.
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives and reporting enhancements.
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of performance management systems and tools.
  • Provide meaningful insight that enables effective decision-making and proactive intervention.
  • Champion a culture of performance excellence, accountability and continuous improvement.

Who we are looking for:

We're looking for a commercially minded and highly analytical individual who can confidently interpret data and communicate findings in a way that resonates with senior stakeholders.

You'll likely bring experience from:

  • Planning & Performance Management
  • Portfolio Management
  • PMO
  • Business Planning
  • Programme Management
  • Business Transformation
  • Operational Excellence
  • Management Consulting environments

You will also demonstrate:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working with complex datasets and multiple reporting sources.
  • A track record of implementing systems, improving processes and driving efficiencies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • The ability to challenge constructively and confidently present recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Experience managing KPIs, OKRs and performance frameworks.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to identify future risks and opportunities before they become issues.

While you will love working here:

  • Be part of the UK's clean energy future
  • Work on impactful and innovative programmes
  • Collaborate with industry leaders and growing businesses
  • Gain valuable experience within a rapidly expanding sector

In return we are offering:

  • Competitive salary depending on skills and experience.
  • 33 days annual leave entitlement
  • Pension scheme with a minimum employee contribution of 4% and employer contribution of up to 4%
