The Role

As Room Leader, you will play a key role in leading practice across the Baby and Toddler Rooms, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are maintained at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and inspiring Early Years practitioners within the rooms
  • Planning engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
  • Monitoring children's progress and development
  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
  • Building strong relationships with parents and carers
  • Supporting children with varying developmental needs
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Ensuring compliance with safeguarding and Early Years standards
What We're Looking For

We would love to hear from candidates who have:

  • Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Practitioner, Nursery Deputy, or experienced Early Years Practitioner
  • A recognised Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above preferred)
  • Experience working with babies and/or toddlers
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for child development and learning through play
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • The ability to motivate and support colleagues within a team environment
